Graphic Artist &
Creative Director
Blending art direction and authorship to craft campaigns
that resonate across borders, markets, and minds.
Marcos Becker is a Brazilian graphic artist and art director based in Dubai, with over 20 years of experience creating visually striking and conceptually rich work across advertising, branding, and cultural design.
While his career has included leadership roles in major global campaigns for brands like DHL, Vespa, Clorox, and Emirates NBD, Marcos has always approached design as an artist working inside advertising , not the other way around. His work stands out for its authorial voice, often blending cultural references, emotional narratives, and visual storytelling that transcend commercial objectives.
This unique perspective has led to recognition beyond the advertising industry. His posters have been selected for the permanent collection of the Poster House museum in New York, and his work has been featured in Lürzer’s Archive, including multiple editions of the 200 Best series.
Now based in Dubai as an Associate Creative Director, Marcos was granted the UAE Golden Visa as a Graphic Artist, in recognition of his cultural impact and long-standing creative contribution. His work continues to blur the lines between advertising and art, guided by a belief that design is not just a tool for communication, but a form of expression.
